With the announcement that his film Half to Death is now on track for an October 20, 2017, release, we reached out to director Christopher Landon to get an update on the new Blumhouse flick’s progress!
“We’re in post now, and I’m getting ready to start working with our amazing composer Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, Colossal),” says Landon. “We have some VFX stuff to iron out but overall the film is in great shape and I can’t wait for people to see it. It’s a funny, scary ride; and thankfully the studio loves it and is going to really get behind it.”

Ruby Modine, Rachel Matthews, Charles Aitken, Jessica Rothe, and Israel Broussard star. Landon is directing from a script he co-wrote with Scott Lobdell.
Jason Blum is producing for Blumhouse with Angela Mancuso and John Baldecchi executive producing. Landon and Blumhouse previously collaborated on the Paranormal Activity franchise, and he most recently directed Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.
Rothe stars as a woman who must solve the mystery of her own murder before her chances run out.
