How often is Box Of Dread shipped?

Box Of Dread subscription boxes are normally shipped at the end of the month starting from the 25th. Unless specified otherwise (sometimes we may have specials). Subscription signups are taken until 12 midnight Eastern Time / 9pm Pacific Time on the 20th of the month. Any subscription orders placed after this sign up deadline will be processed on a first come first serve basis inventory permitting or the payment will be applied to the next month's box.

What do I get in each Box of Dread?
Handpicked, awesome horror-related collectibles as well as promotional products from horror movies, TV shows and games. Items to be included in various boxes range from shirts to stickers to action figures and movie memorabilia. Don’t be surprised if you occasionally get limited edition items. We want to deliver the horror convention experience to you in a box on a monthly basis.

When I signup, how often am I charged?
When you sign up for the monthly plan, you will be charged the relevant price on the day you sign up and then again on that same day every month as your plan renews. For example, if you sign up on the 15th of the month for the monthly plan, you would then be automatically charged again on the 15th of the next month and every month thereafter until you cancel your subscription. For the three month plan, you would be charged the relevant price at signup and then again three months later.

How long does it take to get my Box of Dread through the mail and where do you ship?
We are currently shipping to mailing addresses in the US and CANADA only. We send our boxes via USPS First Class, or Priority Mail. Allow 2-5 business days for delivery. Delivery to addresses in Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico may take an additional 2 business days.

How do I cancel my subscription?
We would like to see how we can keep you happy and continue to be a member of our community. Please help us to improve with any feedback.

It’s very easy to cancel. Just email us at with your information (ie the name and shipping address of the subscription) and we’ll take care of your cancellation from our end.

If you email us your cancellation request at least 2 business days BEFORE your renewal date (so that we have time to locate your account and make relevant changes), your credit card will not be charged for that period and your account would be completely cancelled.

If you cancel AFTER your renewal date, that charge on your renewal date would be your FINAL charge and you’ll still receive a final mystery box that the final charge has paid for. Please take note of your renewal date.

An item arrived broken, can I get a replacement?

Email us at and our customer service team will get on the case. We know we’re not perfect and we’re happy to resolve it.

My tracking number says shipping address received but no other information, or that info is not available, what should I do?

It can take up to 24 hours for the USPS system to fully provide tracking information after they receive it, just give it a day and it should appear.

I haven’t received my box and USPS doesn’t have an updated status on my tracking code, what should I do?

If it’s been more than 10 total days from the 10th of the month, please contact customer support so we can check options for sending you a replacement

What should I do if my shipping address has changed?

Please contact if you need to change your shipping address or any other assistance. We’ll have our billing portal send you a link to your own self-service page to make your changes.

I’ve got a weird problem with my subscription that’s not covered by this FAQ page. What should I do?

Can I buy Box of Dread from previous months?

As a matter of fact you can. Sometimes we do have some extra leftover items and boxes and when we do, we’ll make them available for purchase at Check it out.

I live outside of the US. Can I still get the Box of Dread?

Unfortunately we currently cannot ship out new monthly boxes to addresses outside of the US and CANADA. We are researching ways to ship them outside of the US without costing an arm and a leg though. However, we do have some past boxes available for purchase that we can ship to outside of the US at our store. Go to
